We booked our stay in April for a May visit. Required a room with a walk in shower for mobility issues. The room we had was room 5 which was fully accessible and oh boy was it an excellent room. Everything a fully disabled person would need( which we didn't). Comfy beds, black out curtains, electric radiator for chilly evenings. Very spacious and beautifully decorated. The ladies kept it so clean and replenished everything on regular basis. The whole hotel is disabled friendly and welcomed well behaved dogs. Again the furnishings were amazing. Super breakfast in superb breakfast room.Served by wonderful staff, the amazing duo of Debs and Mandy deserve a special mention, nothing was ever too much trouble. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food is excellent with a regular menu plus specials each day. Fish Fryday is a real bargain. Every meal has above average portions, way too much sometimes! All of the staff were helpful and friendly. We must mention Mike(Mikey) who can solved any minor issue that you might have whilst entertaining you at the same time. The only negative comment that we would make is the grounds do need some TLC but that clearly is a work in progress. We highly recommend this hotel, easy to find, ample parking.
We stayed here for just one night and really enjoyed our stay. The room was a good size and had good amenities. The beds ( twin room) were comfortable. The bar was great and had live music ( Friday night, brilliant duo) Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Special mention to Mikey the manager who ensures things run smoothly. Well done sir.
just home from 5 nights at the coach house and what a lovely place it is. the rooms are of a good size and very clean. ALL the staff are friendly, courteous, professional and nothing is too much trouble the breakfasts are absolutely delicious, cooked to order and plenty of choice regarding cereal, fruit etc. i will not hesitate to book at the coach house again when i am in the area
I booked this hotel as a last minute get away with my husband and dachshund and I was pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted by Dannie who personally showed us to our room and made sure we knew how to work the heating and were happy with the room. After settling into the room (double with extra bed/sofa in the chalet at the side of the hotel) we decided to go to the bar for a drink. Again staff were friendly and very dog friendly. In the evening we ate in the restaurant which I had already pre booked. The staff were very attentive and a request for extra gravy was not a issue and arrived quickly by friendly staff. The room we were staying in was very clean and fresh, comfortable good sized bed and large walk in shower. Breakfast was included in the room price with continental breakfast buffet style and breakfast cooked to order with a variety of choices including traditional English cooked breakfast or kippers or pancakes to name a few options. They even offered my dog a sausage of his own.The fresh fruit salad at the buffet was lovely with at least nine different fruits chopped up. As we had a dog with us we were required to sit in the restaurant rather than the breakfast room which wasn't a problem, because the cooked breakfast was served quicker than I had expected, I had gone to the other room to make some toast. One of the members of staff spotted me and said to enjoy my breakfast whilst it was hot and she would bring my toast through. Really kind gesture. Check out was easy and again greeted by friendly staff. I will definitely be back and would recommend.
What a find. Beautiful, clean and great decor. All the staff were attentive and friendly. We choose to eat too on our stay and that was definitely a good choice. Would highly recommend amd we will be viditing again- Ian & Cheryl

We had an overnight stay here as we were house viewing in the area. What an absolute gem of a place. Accommodation is lovely, comfortable bed & lovely big fluffy towels. The staff are absolutely amazing, they were friendly & welcoming, bar prices very reasonable and the breakfast all freshly cooked fabulous. We will definitely be regular visitors to the restaurant once we move to the area and they are dog friendly
